Creating An Inner Expert
Advisor
"For Any Problem or
Question That You Have, It's Always Better to Ask an Expert"
Once you have learned how to
visualize, you can create an expert advisor. The advisor that you
choose will be able to answer your questions and help you with many
problems.
Who do you ask when you have
an important problem? It may be your closest friend, spouse, mother,
father, teacher, professor, doctor, dentist, priest, rabbi, co-worker,
financial advisor or any number of people. But why do you choose
them?
It's usually because you
trust them and believe that they have the knowledge to help you with your
problem. You may seek out different people depending on the question
you have. You wouldn't usually look to your doctor for a question
you had about religion would you? Or an accountant about your health
either.
What if you could create your
own group of advisors that were experts in different areas that you could
ask questions at any time? You can by using your ability to
visualize. If you are not familiar with how to visualize, read the
article Learning to Visualize.
Napoleon Hill, in his
legendary
book Think and Grow Rich called such experts "his imaginary
cabinet". It consisted of a group of men including Thomas Edison,
Charles Darwin, Abraham Lincoln, Napoleon, Henry Ford and others.
Each one a true giant of knowledge and wisdom in their field.
Even he was amazed by the
power of this imaginary group of experts he had created in his mind.
He visualized his expert group almost every night seeking answers about
certain problems he had. He had this to say about them:
"On scores of
occasions when I have faced emergencies, some of them so grave that my
life was in jeopardy, I have been miraculously guided past these
difficulties through the influence of my 'Invisible Counselors'."
Step 1 - Choose Your Expert Advisors
Your can create just one
expert advisor or a team of counselors. Each should be someone you
admire for their exceptional abilities, wisdom and knowledge. They
can be alive right now or be important figures from history.
You can select a figure from
the past that you know of but have never met, such as Albert Einstein,
Isaac Newton, Abraham Lincoln, Shakespeare, Gandhi, Leonardo DaVinci,
Mohammed, Jesus Christ or Moses, to name only a few of thousands.
You may have studied these
historical figures in school and admired them for different reasons, such
as their knowledge, talents, reasoning ability,
philosophy of life, purity of thought or strong beliefs.
Which person you select as
your advisor and how many you choose is entirely up to you. You
should select only a small number of advisors at first or
even only one with the characteristics you feel most important. You
always can create another advisor whenever you choose.
If you are not sure who to
select as your advisor or advisors, you can let your subconscious mind
decide for you. It may even be a surprise to you and not even be a
parson but an animal.
Step 2 - Create a Statement Asking For Your
Advisor
You will need to write a
statement about what you desire and in a positive way. If you
had chosen a certain person such as Thomas Edison to help you find the
inspiration to solve a problem then you should write it as follows:
"I now ask for the help of
Thomas Edison who has the knowledge, wisdom and genius to guide me to
finding the answers I seek."
If you only seek someone that
can help you solve your problem and are not concerned about who they are,
then use either of the following statements. Replace the words so
that they relate to the answers you desire.
"I will now meet an expert advisor that will assist me with my goals of
becoming a successful writer"
"I now summon my spiritual advisor that
will guide me in matters about religion and morals"
"My expert advisor on scientific problems will now appear before me"
"My guide that will help me to succeed in life
will now appear before me"
Make your request so that it
is related to the area in which you want help. Write that statement
on paper so that it will be easy to read once you become relaxed. It
would be even more helpful if you memorize it so that you don't have to
even read it.
Step 3 - Relax and Make Your Request
You should now enter a
relaxed state so that you are more open to the request for an advisor that
you created. If you want some help, read the article
Learning to Relax is Important to Your
Success.
Once you are relaxed, clear you mind and decide that you wish to meet
your expert advisor that will help answer your questions. Speak your
request aloud or silently at least six times. Each time, say it
slowly with confidence and add as much feeling and imagination as you can.
After you have done this give
thanks and feel gratitude for any help that you receive. You can
feel this or say aloud:
"I am grateful for all the
help that I receive in every way"
Wait quietly for an image or
thought to enter your mind. It is important that you don't reject
the first image that comes to you because it may be the most revealing.
It may not even make sense to
you at first because it may be a person you did not expect or even an
animal speaking to you.. Suspend any doubts you may have and listen
to it and ask it your question or talk about your difficulty.
You may be completely
surprised at the results of your efforts. Once you feel that you are
done, politely tell this image that you must go now but that you wish to
speak with them again for more guidance.
Step 4 - Record the Answers and Take Action
Write down all advice you are
given as soon as you can. It doesn't have to make any sense right
now and you should not even try to understand it yet.
The answers that you get may
take many forms and you should consider each one to be important.
Why would you question an expert that knows much more than you do?
After you rise from your
relaxed state, look at what you wrote down and decide if the the advice
makes sense to you. If it is very clear and you know what it means
then act on it as best you can. If you don't feel comfortable about
the advice,
ask your question again or even why.
You are the only one that can
decide to act on the answers that you may receive. Some of then may
be very clear and others even strange. But for every question there
is an answer so isn't it better that you ...
ask an
expert that you choose?
