If Your Success Program Fails
"They Said It Would Make Me
Successful But It Didn't. What Should I Do Now?"
You purchased a success
program of some type and did what you could to make it work. But it
still didn't work for you. What can or should you do now?
Here's some options for you to think about.
You have choices on what you
can or should do next but before that you should first understand how you
feel. Here's a few emotions for you to choose from:
-
Anger
-
Resentment
-
Disappointment
-
Discouragement
-
Distrust
-
Deception
-
Violation
-
Hate
You can probably think of
even more less polite terms if you wanted to but that's not the point.
You need to understand why it didn't work for you and there can be several
reasons for that.
Why It Didn't Work
You bought the program
because it seemed like the best thing for you. But you may have been
feeling more than thinking about it. You were convinced that it was
absolutely the best thing for you and paid for it.
They even delivered it either
almost instantly over the Internet or through the mail. You
anxiously awaited its arrival and then dove into it as soon as possible.
What did you do next?
Did you study it from beginning to end? Did you stop somewhere in
the middle thinking this was not for you? Even if you finished it,
did you begin to follow the instructions given?
If you had some mixed feeling
about it then it may just not have been the right success solution for
you. If you didn't follow everything they told you then it's not
completely their fault. You were looking for a solution.
And they tried to sell you a
solution but it could have been a mismatch. Perhaps you didn't
know that sales was involved and you hated doing that. Or that you
had to put more money up front to continue.
You didn't know either
because they didn't tell you right away or you didn't find out soon
enough. You may have not been able to find out any more but took a
chance.
What to Do Next
Ask yourself if this success
program was really the right one for you or whether you just didn't use it
properly or even wanted to use it.
Be as honest with yourself as
you can. You should end up with one of the following answers:
-
I hate it and everything about it
-
I don't think I can do what they want me to do
-
It just feels wrong to me
-
It's more work than I expected
-
It costs more than I wanted to pay
Whatever the reason you have
you should ask for your money back if there was a guarantee. Many
programs provide a guarantee but most people simply don't ask for their
money back.
And there is reason why they
don't. Most people are embarrassed to ask. They feel that if
they ask for a refund then it is not the program that failed but them.
But you usually don't have to
even speak with anyone to ask for your money back. It may only
require that you send an e-mail message stating that you are not pleased
with the product. Or a simple telephone call.
There Are Other Ways
If you didn't find the right
way to succeed this time you still can. There are many other ways
for you to choose from and the right one is waiting for you.
Don't think that because THAT
way didn't work means you have failed. Or that all the rest are of
no value. What it really means is that you made an attempt and this
one was not the right way for you.
You have already proven to
yourself that you want success and you should be proud of that. You
have to keep looking for the path that is best for you.
Don't stop on your quest for
success. Each wrong turn brings you only that much closer to ...
the
success that you seek.
